Arctia will participate in the international Marsec EU26 Livex 2 maritime security exercise, which will be held in the Helsinki maritime area this week and led by the Finnish Border Guard. The exercise brings together Finnish authorities, international partners, and maritime operators to strengthen their ability to respond effectively to demanding maritime security scenarios.

The aim of the exercise is to strengthen the participants' capabilities to respond to maritime security incidents and to protect maritime infrastructure that is critical to society. The exercise is related to EU measures to improve the security of critical underwater infrastructure.

Arctia's special public service mission is to ensure the availability of maritime services that are essential for Finland's security of supply, industrial transport and military mobility under all conditions. Fulfilling this mission requires strong preparedness and the capability to operate effectively even in complex maritime security situations. Joint exercises with authorities and other stakeholders strengthen cooperation while further developing Arctia's readiness and operational capability to carry out its special assignment safely, efficiently, and reliably.
