Latest bathymetric LiDAR technology
We use the latest bathymetric LiDAR technology for coastal and river surveys producing seamless data from land to water. This solution enables among other things charting according to S-44 standards, obstruction detection and seamless onshore and shoreline data. A major benefit for bathymetric LiDAR technology is the possibility to efficiently collect data from shallow and hazardous environments where operating with traditional echo based survey vessels is challenging or even impossible.
Since 2016 we have successfully completed several coastal survey projects for maritime and environmental authorities with the largest project being over 4000km2 in size. Purpose of these projects have been for example creation or updating of nautical charts and erosion studies.
Strong evidence in LiDAR surveys of hydroelectricity sector
We have also taken the first steps in the hydroelectricity sector. In the first project a river containing a hydroelectric power plant was surveyed for the purpose of water flow modeling and flow capacity derivatives, riverbed deformation and flood mapping.
